最后,SQLite does the same autocommit, but uses fdatasync(2) on Linux, which skips syncing file metadata when compiled with HAVE_FDATASYNC (the default). This is roughly 1.6 to 2.7 times cheaper on NVMe SSDs. SQLite’s per-statement overhead is also minimal: no schema reload, no AST clone, no VDBE recompile.
